Ranjana Kashyap from (Jhakri) Himachal Pradesh, a person who pursues many talents, is born and bought up in Delhi. She has started her journey as a self taught artist and during past few years, she has acquired a noticeable place in the mature world of art. Her artworks are on display on several websites. A woman with great spirits and quest to achieve something has great interest in learning, painting, poetry writing, story writing, photography, crafts, gardening, etc. A unique person with a kind heart, she is a beautiful painter as well as a wonderful writer. Her spirit shines through her work. Pure and serene. Her themes are universal and her natural fascination ranges are landscapes, contemporary, sketching, mandala to Indian miniature art paintings. She loves to learn and experiment with different forms & styles of paintings. She does not restrict herself at any particular style. She has seen the boundaries of Himachali culture and is very much attracted to the local culture. She generally clicks the photographs and then try to replicate the nature but with a twist of her imagination. She has executed her paintings in a free-flowing style with vivid colors. She spends lot of time on trainer videos to enhance her knowledge on the various subject. She has not received any formal education or training of any kind, however, has received invaluable tips and guidance, on miniature paintings and sketching from Mr. K. C. Jangid, a very able and senior artist from Jaipur. She loves to paint Monasteries and paintings on Buddhism. Mostly her works are influenced by the strokes of famous artist "Nicolas Roerich". Her works have also been published in National and International magazines. Some of her paintings were also published as cover page of books. She has performed in group shows as in solo shows. She loves to teach local kids and therefore in her quest to engage & spread awareness, she, in her free time, takes free classes, even during testing covid-19 pandemic She also loves to write occasionally and during past few years has contributed in several anthologies and magazines of Hindi and English. She loves to write whenever she feel the moment or anything which attracts or motivates her to paint. She also attempts to create artworks based on the poems.
