THE ARTIST SPEAKS -

" Perseverance"

Perseverance to follow a dream, to keep it safe amidst all the struggles, taking small leaps one after another, forming new trails where there is no path defined. Watching every step of oneself with the same perseverance to make the next leap easier , higher, and more furious.

Interpretation by Dr. Amit Biswas (Statistician and author) -

A subservient woman with a very creative mind is looking for protection from her captor/owner/ dominant partner.

Interpretation by Ms Anupama Karanam (Artist) - The painting is a depiction of the battle of emotions ranging from ferocity to calmness that sits like a stubborn mountain, soothes like a lush green meadow, cools like a calm lake.. a introspection of a despondent soul !!

Interpretation by Ms Meera Srikant (Author and editor) - I see Him in everything, He is in everything. Through pleasure and pain, removing hurdles if only we can see Him.

Interpretation by Joao Marques (Artist) - A woman at a height holding the world on her shoulder! The colors are all natural, the shapes are delicate and some eyes can see it.

Interpretation by Anindita Basu (Banker) - I can see a man holding the earth on his shoulders and some one watching at the background. May be the man is trying his best to protect the earth from evil eyes.

Interpretation by Ms Jyoti Prakash (artist) - The universe is in safe hands and under watchful eye.

Interpretation by Saikat Baksi (author and artist) - A woman is struggling under crushing load of the world weighing down on her in savage ferocity. And the glaring eye of fate is watching the ordeal in stern impassion.
